The building was designed by Chad Oppenheim in 2006. The 1000 sq. foot concrete loft is located in the heart of South Beach on Meridian Ave. The corner setting with a wrap around 450sqf terrace and high ceilings allows for tons of glass and light. The space is decorated in Karim’s signature sensual minimal style with an open plan living space and two bedrooms divided by sliding glass doors. The kitchen features Corian sink and counter tops as well as Scavolini Ikon cabinets and Gorenje appliances designed by Karim. The floor is tiled in large ceramic Tau Ceramica tiles in a white and black Digipop pattern. The furnishings are 100% Karim designed including the Vertex dining table and chairs by Vondom, pink Zero desk by Della Rovere, Doride lamp by Artemide, yellow Time and Space lamp by Zero, mint Infinity couch by Rowe, Kloud loveseat by Nienkamper, Dekon coffee table by Tonelli and Surf chaise lounges by Vondom. The white loft is accented with large striking art by Gerold Miller, Dalek, Julien Opie and Karim’s own works.
